Kristina Rose was born in San Diego, California, on April 14, 1984 named Tracey Quin Perez. Her parents are from Guadalajara, Mexico.

Her first job was at the age of 18 for an adult website, doing customer service. When she was laid off, as the company moved, the only companies that responded to her resume were adult-related ones. So she became an assistant for a photographer who encouraged her to model.
