Gay Smut Online isn't a new site. It came online in 2008 and had a good run, but since March 2010 it hasn't added any new episodes. They managed to get 101 movies into their online vaults before the hiatus but since then things have really quieted down.

As the name of the site clearly suggests, the porn here is all about hardcore gay sex. The scenes themselves are episodes from DVD series like Mixed Nuts, Ever More Adorable, and Military Maneuvers. They are mid-tier DVD releases and most of them seem to come from the 1990s. You will get a good sample of all types of sex; anal, interracial, group sex, twinks, muscles, big cocks, double penetration, blow jobs and gagging, etc.

The movies can be saved directly to your hard drive. They come in a Windows Media download that has a good quality playback and a DVD resolution. The download is for the full length scene, which averages 20 minutes long. There are no alternatives to this download or any other file types to pick from. These limitations were disappointing.

Getting around the site is very basic. You will have a basic search function but it doesn't work terribly well. It is better to just browse through the pages of thumbnails and scene descriptions manually until you see something you like. Unfortunately there aren't any galleries with the movies, so you pretty much have to just download what looks interesting then see if it is.

I wasn't blown away with Gay Smut Online. The library was large but the movies only came in up to DVD quality downloads, and file types and download options were limited. There are also no more updates. The bonus gay sites included sweetened the deal and it's definitely worth a look, just not a prize winner.
